Hi there! I am a CSIR fellow at the Dept of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. I work under the joint supervision of Prof Anil Kumar Gourishetty (IIT Roorkee) and Prof Indranil Mazumdar (TIFR, Mumbai). I have good experience in handling scintillation detectors and associated analog & digital electronics for pulse processing. Our group specialises in detecting high-energy gamma-rays.
My doctoral research focuses on studying low-lying states of light nuclei using a proton beam. I have conducted experiments involving gamma-ray measurements for nuclear structure and gamma-ray astronomy.
My other research interests include
Study of the scintillation mechanism of radiation detectors
GEANT4 simulation of the response of the radiation detectors
Development of ROOT-based data analysis, nuclear reaction codes
Applications of machine learning in nuclear physics
