Hi there! I am a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Dept of Nuclear and Atomic Physics (DNAP), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. I am working with Prof Indranil Mazumdar to explore the nuclear structure of low-lying states of light nuclei using proton and alpha-particle beams. I have experience handling scintillation detectors and associated analog & digital electronics for pulse processing. Our group specialises in the measurement of absolute cross-sections of high-energy gamma rays.
My doctoral research focussed on studying low-lying states of light nuclei using a proton beam. I have performed several experiments involving gamma-ray measurements for nuclear structure and gamma ray astronomy.
My other research interests include
Study of the scintillation mechanism of radiation detectors
GEANT4 simulation of the response of the radiation detectors
Development of ROOT-based data analysis, nuclear reaction codes
Applications of machine learning in nuclear physics
